The AI-Driven AEC Practice: From Concept to Construction

The AEC industry is undergoing a major transformation, and AI is quickly moving from experimentation into the day-to-day practice of architecture. What happens when AI moves beyond generating pretty pictures and starts reshaping how we design, document, and deliver projects?

This session explores two exciting frontiers of AI in architecture: creative design exploration and automated technical documentation. We’ll demonstrate how generative AI can transform 2D sketches into 3D concepts, maintain design continuity across multiple views, and streamline the exploration of multiple design directions.

Then, we’ll turn to the production phase, exploring how AI can automate repetitive documentation tasks like view creation, dimensioning, and sheet packing. We’ll also look ahead to cloud-based systems that can learn a firm’s unique graphic standards and enable increasingly autonomous documentation.
