Please join AIA New York as we elect our 2027 leadership, honor those who contribute to our city's built environment, and celebrate the progress and direction of the Chapter. The evening also serves to highlight the challenges, successes, and state of AIA New York in 2026, from public advocacy to professional training, and our 2026 President's theme of Repair: Democracy and Urban Space.

For the election, independent nominations may be submitted to the Secretary via the chapter (membership@aiany.org) in accordance with Chapter Bylaws. If an independent slate is submitted, a ballot election will be held at the Annual Meeting. If there is no independent slate, the Secretary is empowered to vote a single ballot for the Nominating Committee slate as presented. Please access the 2027 Board and Elective Committee Slate here.

The AIANY Honors Committee will confer the following Chapter Honors during the Annual Meeting:

  • Leadership in Housing Award: Kirk Goodrich
  • Public Architect Award: Thomas Grassi, FAIA, NCARB
  • Service to the Institute: TORCH Mentorship Program
  • Service to the City: Riders Alliance
  • Special Citations: Street Vendor Project
If you are not able to join in person to enjoy networking with colleagues and friends, you may still listen in via Zoom using this link.
