The new 2025 NYC Energy Conservation Code takes effect March 31, 2026! Get clear on lighting changes before they impact your design decisions and DOB documentation.

Join the New York City Section of the Illuminating Engineering Society (IESNYC) NYC Lighting Council and AIANY Building Codes Committee for an overview and panel discussion on the new 2025 NYC Energy Conservation Code (NYCECC), focusing on what’s changed for lighting since the 2020 code. What's new, and what do the revisions mean for design, documentation, and compliance in NYC installations?

Expert panelists will work through the changes and identify where teams are most likely to run into challenges. Whether you design, specify, engineer, supply, or review lighting systems, this is the information you need before the code takes effect.

In preparation of attending our event we suggest you review the new 2025 NYCECC at the DOB website.

  • Residential Energy Efficiency (Chapter R4, Section R404)
  • Commercial Energy Efficiency (Chapter C4, Sections C405 and C406)
  • ASHREA 90.1 Amendment (Sections 9 and 11)
