Speakers: Yatin Pandya, Academic Researcher, FOOTPRINTS E.A.R.T.H. (Environment Architecture Research Technology Housing) About the Speakers: Yatin Pandya is an author, academician, researcher, and practicing architect whose work spans city planning, urban design, mass housing, architecture, interior design, product design, and conservation as Principal of FOOTPRINTS E.A.R.T.H. (Environment Architecture Research Technology Housing). Notably, he formerly served as Associate Director at the Vastu Shilpa Foundation for Studies and Research in Environmental Design, working with Pritzker Prize-winning acclaimed architect Balkrishna Doshi. Pandya has received over forty national and international awards for design, research, and dissemination, including most recently the All India Stone Architecture Award, a United Nations Habitat Award special mention, and the US Curry Stone Foundation Design Prize for Sustainable Practice. He has written nearly 300 articles in national and international media and authored books such as Courtyard Houses of India, Concepts of Space in Traditional Indian Architecture, and Elements of Space Making, all internationally published and widely used as course material. A dedicated educator, he has taught at CEPT University for 34 years and lectured at various universitas and at over 100 forums across 20+ countries.
