About the Speakers:
Zack Aders is an Architect and Senior Vice President at NYCEDC. He leads over $1B of public building projects for the City of New York and advocates for environmental stewardship, strength in community, and building cities that work for all.

Trained as an architect and urban planner, Gizem Karagoz's work lies at the intersection of research, design, and policy to decarbonize the built environment. She is a Senior Project Manager on the Green Economy team at NYCEDC, leading a portfolio of projects to derisk and scale circular construction practices, low carbon building materials, and emerging climate technologies.
