The School District of Philadelphia is the eighth largest school district in the United States. The District's Office of School Safety and physical security program is tasked with providing safety and security for its students, teachers, staff and patrons, encompassing all technologies and operations related to security and life safety.

The Office of School Safety joins us to present an overview of its physical security program at The School District of Philadelphia, spanning security technologies, operational controls, physical space considerations, and security staffing. The speakers will discuss security-specific challenges and the District’s various initiatives to create a safer and more secure learning environment. Topics of discussion will include security technologies, the ongoing CCTV transformation program, active threat preparation, staffing and governance.
