Donations are welcome during the event in support of SAGE's important work. SAGE is the world’s largest and oldest organization dedicated to improving the lives of LGBTQ+ elders. In partnership with our constituents and allies, SAGE works to achieve a high quality of life for LGBTQ+ older people, supports and advocates for their rights, fosters a greater understanding of aging in all communities, and promotes positive images of LGBTQ+ life in later years. SAGE fulfills its mission through advocacy and by providing direct services, training, education, and technical assistance. The LGBTQIA+ Alliance is a newly launched group at AIANY that advocates for the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, intersex, asexual, plus other sexual and gender marginalized (LGBTQIA+) communities within the architecture profession by creating space to build community, host events and discussions, and foster diversity and inclusion within our profession.
